Our Beginnings

Established in 1995 as the Creative Services department of U S WEST (now Qwest Communications) our initiative and entrepreneurial drive pioneered a number of U S WEST's key programs, such as ordering phone services online and a workflow management application that regularly handles thousands of tasks without a hitch.

The increasing need for our talents resulted in the creation of Peak Systems, Inc.—a closely held, privately owned and profitable company.

Next Steps

Like many technology companies in the mid-nineties, Peak thrived. But unlike many of those others, however, we remained nimble, strategic and kept forging ahead once the bubble burst. One of our proudest moments came in 2002 when we developed ground-breaking and first-of-their-kind applications for the 2002 Olympic Winter Games. Our applications were responsible for registering and managing tens of thousands of volunteers, and the planning, coordination and execution of the Olympic Torch Relay, a tradition that symbolizes most powerfully the Olympic spirit.
